"Periods don't pause for poverty" and that affects girls in Aurora and beyond. That's why a Colorado non-profit called Justice Necessary organized a two-day Period Packing Party in our city. The goal is to provide free products to girls so they don't have to miss out on summer fun. Also on this week's show, an up-close look at the Aurora Police Department's Victims Services Unit; an Aurora Arbor Day Tree Planting event; a taste of Mile High Asian Food Week featuring Aurora restaurants; and a preview of Aurora's sunset yoga at the Aurora Reservoir and another unique location. Those stories and many more this week on Aurora Now.
